When I was in 4th grade my teacher read this famous children’s book to our class: The Witches By Roald Dahl. The book is about a young boy who spends time with his grandmother and learned about real life witches from her. He even learned how to spot a real witch through a collection of symptoms.
In this list of symptoms, there were a few physical characteristics that really stuck to the memory of my classmates and I. Witches were bald, with large nostrils and hated children. Click for more!
I’ve always wanted to write more about moderate Muslims and express my great interest to that subtopic of Islam Reform. While I have created content in the past on the subject, the book we are about to discuss certainly gives the “necessary jolt” for me to discuss moderate Muslims in the West.
The book is about a wide variety of things, but if I had to sum it up it is about the conflicting ideological struggles and identity crises in the Muslim world today.
The “Muslim world” in this case consists of the global population of Muslims, from minority diasporas in the western world to Muslim majority countries in the Middle East, South Asia, North Africa etc.

Thank you all for having supported my videos and articles these past several months. I have gone through a lot of intellectual growth and maturity interacting with you all and engaging with different people and their ideas in these online communities.
I have decided I want to improve my quality of presentation such as web design, sound/video quality on Youtube; as well as attend educational events to improve my learning and network with other great thinkers to interview on my channel. Doing so is no cheap task. I have opened a Patreon account where readers/viewers who are interested in seeing improved quality can help through generosity. Below is a video introducing my Patreon account. If you want to learn more, click here.

As the oldest sibling there were a few years in my early childhood that I had nobody to play with. So I would run from one end of my parents’ apartment to the next fighting with my imaginary friends. Boy was I good at martial arts… in my own imagination of course.
We would play power Rangers. I would even lose the battle sometimes and “die.” This is all on home video footage and it’s a very cute memory. It certainly influences my imagination for the rest of my life and even today.
