Common Frustrations With Leftists
Throughout the past eight years, social justice culture in the left has truly grown. Identity politics became the go-to discussion on social grievances. Discussions on what you are instead of who you are became a widely accepted standard for political discussion eligibility. If you were white you were obligated to call out white guilt in every political discussion, because apparently politics revolves only around identities and nothing else.
Thank you all for having supported my videos and articles these past several months. I have gone through a lot of intellectual growth and maturity interacting with you all and engaging with different people and their ideas in these online communities.
I have decided I want to improve my quality of presentation such as web design, sound/video quality on Youtube; as well as attend educational events to improve my learning and network with other great thinkers to interview on my channel. Doing so is no cheap task. I have opened a Patreon account where readers/viewers who are interested in seeing improved quality can help through generosity. Below is a video introducing my Patreon account. If you want to learn more, click here.

The following article is a result of spending the past year conversing with Trump Campaign Supporters from many walks of life.
Donald Trump is the President of the United States of America. Many of my progressive friends are wondering “Why? He said the most obnoxious things.” My entire Facebook news feed is filled with inner city Progressives drawing the conclusion that Donald Trump won merely because half of the country are white supremacist racists, xenophobic, misogynistic etc. There is an absolute freak out about end times coming and the Trump Presidency being the apocalypse for the world.
So to break it down with their logic: “Donald Trump says bigoted and misogynistic remarks. He is a bigot. If you support him despite this bigotry, you are a bigot too. Half the country supported him. Half the country are bigots.”
Welcome to The Secular Brownie.
Why I Switched from ExMuslimRants
I began writing in my other site Ex-Muslim Rants as a way to openly critique daily Muslim life I would observe in my family and society. However, as I met more secular bloggers, ex-Muslims etc. my horizons on critiquing the role of religion in society expanded. I realized that a blog title called “ExMuslim Rants” would confine me to merely critiquing the Islamic lifestyle and faith. Through this new site, I seek to expand my options.
I have copied and pasted all the articles from the previous site to this site.
Goals of The Secular Brownie
In The Secular Brownie, we will examine:
- The effects of religion and dogma on society
- Mainstream politics and problematic popular misconceptions of contemporary events.
- Personal observations from my daily life regarding the effects of religiosity/faith.
- And more
I am very excited about some of the posts to come.
